A master plan to transform the Huangguoushu River Valley into a comprehensive destination resort, comprising golf courses, hotels, theme parks, water-related recreational activities and residential facilities. The focus of the 4,000 acre development is the famous Huangguoushu Falls and River.
The project consists of two varied, yet inter-related elements. The initial phases will concentrate on tourist-oriented facilities, including a 450 room international hotel, visitors' arrival center, observation tower, sky ride over the waterfall to a theme park and other resort, commercial and recreational centers. The later phases will establish a residential community oriented toward a major multi-use center and a 27 hole golf course. Programmed community support facilities such as schools, parks, hospitals and institutions will be located throughout the community.
